ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS RE-USABLE 600 SERIES HOSE & FITTINGS |
STEP 1 |
Bind masking tape tightly around the hose at the required length and cut through using a fine tooth saw blade, leaving tape on both ends so that it retains the braid. Clean any debris from the cut end and inside the hose. |

STEP 2 |
On a clean
flat surface disassemble the Fitting. This consists of three parts.
The Socket, Olive and Main Fitting Body. |

STEP 3 |
Remove the
masking tape, push two sockets back to back over the overbraid from the
non flared end.

STEP 4 |
Using an appropriate Goodridge mandrell, flare out both ends of the stainless steel overbraid from the P.T.F.E. inner tube. |

STEP 5 |
Push an olive onto each end of the P.T.F.E. inner tube under the stainless steel over braid by hand and finish off by pushing against a flat solid surface making sure the P.T.F.E. tube is fully home in the olive. |

STEP 6 |
Holding the main fitting body in a smooth the jaw vice, lubricate the thread push the hose and socket over the nipple end and start to thread the socket onto the fitting by hand, making sure you regard the hose and socket (red) as just one part so the socket turns WITH the hose. |

STEP 7 |
Finish
tightening the socket onto the fitting with a good quality wrench until
the socket is one full turn from the main fitting hex.
Pressure test.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THE SOCKET BE LOOSENED IN AN ATEMPT TO ADJUST THE ALIGNEMENT AFTER ASSEMBLY! |

RE-USE |
If you like to re-use the fitting you must replace the olive. To re-use the hose remember to cut off approx. 1cm |
